About Me

Hello there! My name is Heather Simmons. Currently I reside in Lubbock, TX but travel to Pagosa Springs, Colorado and other parts of Southern Colorado for weddings and elopements. I have been a wedding and portrait photographer in Lubbock for the past 4 years focusing my skills towards wedding, elopement, casual, and adventure photography.

I graduated from Texas Tech University in 2014 with a Bachelors Degree in Social Work and went on to be a Social Worker for the child welfare system for the past 6 years and now work for a no-profit full time.

I found my love for photography in high school and never dreamed I would turn my love into my dream job! I believe that God gives us special gifts and talents to help one another, and inspire one another. I hope that with my gift, I can inspire you to pursue you passion as well. I have shot around 2-3 weddings a year, but take a maximum of 10 a year. By keeping my photography workload low, it allows me to connect more with my clients as well as provide fast production and communication.

I am a strong believer that with a little bit of faith and a whole lot of courage, you can achieve anything your heart desires.
